Hi Petentials pets!
This is BB the Dog Groomer with a Summer Tip:
Make sure to tell your people you need fresh, clean water all the time...in the summer especially, bacteria can grow FAST and we all know that is not good for us....A piece of ice dropped in every once and awhile is always fun and "cool" too....
Tell them also not to be alarmed if you don't eat as much in the hot summer months, it is a natural instinct for us to "lay off full bellies" when it is real hot (something our folks could learn from HAR-DEE HAR-HAR!!!)
Staying inside in the AC is the "cats meow"...but if we "hafta " go out for an extended length of time, we should have shade and water.
My Mom takes an umbrella to the beach for me but shady trees in the back yard work at home.
Oh,and BEG not to be left out all day when it is 95-100 degrees with high humidity!!! We can die of heat stroke, esecially if we are older or short-nosed
Remember, crossing the street can be "ouchie" painful to pads too. We don't wear flip-flops to protect our tootsies, so be aware of hot asphalt and cement in the "dog daz" of summer.
Hope everybody is having a great summer..
Later, BB the Bulldog
Thank you for these fabulous
