Cloned Dog becomes a poppa

Hi all,

I just heard my human talking and I found out that the first cloned dog just had puppies! The first cloned dog, snuppy mated with two other dogs and became the first cloned animal to breed. I'm not sure how I feel about cloning myself, what do you guys think?

Hmmm. You would have the very same critter? Would it not be better to let nature take its course. I suppose in cloning they could take out any inherited genetic problems? We have had 2 bernese puppies and each had a different personality and energy level. I think we would prefer to experience the difference. Would they be exactly the same personality and temperment or just the same markings etc. Any scientist out there that could answer this????

I don't think personalities

I don't think personalities would be the same because the clone wouldn't have the same experiences. Kind of like how I don't like stairs because once when I was little I ran down them and smashed into a wall, but the new Hershey wouldn't mind stairs because that never happened to him.

This is very weird to wonder about. My dad says if anything happened to me he would have to put my mom in a place for crazy people...but she's like Bow and Sissy's mom. She would want an 'exact' me. It's true though that your surroundings affect everything. I wonder how alike the cloned dog is to the original?
