Binx you are sooo lucky. We have no water parks here. It is so cold here now we would have ice on top of the water. It looks like so much fun there. If we are lucky it will warm up for our Thanksgiving next week and I can swim in the pond when we go hiking. Sigh :(

Oh no Abby, that cold already! Holy wow! It used to get real cold this time of year when we still lived in upstate NY. It is still in the high 80's here mostly. You said you don't have any water parks there, do you have any theme parks like we have here? We live a few minutes away from Disney, Universal Studios, and Seaworld. So different than back home that is for sure! I hope that you get to go swimming for your holiday next week! :)

Closest theme park is wonderland in Toronto, 3 hrs away. Closest water park Is in London, 1.5 hrs away. It is supposed to warm up to 70 next week. That will be a heat wave for us up north, but the fall leaves will be very pretty. Here is a link to a live web cam in Haliburton (30 minutes from our house up north). FUNNNN. I wanna go! No fair! Sounds like lots of fun! I wish they had some of those here. :( Sounds like so much fun! I just bogey board and go to the doggy beach. And the park. But all that water sounds like so much fun! :]

Hi Abby, Sissy, and Rainbow. Abby, I am so going to look at that link for the leaves. We really miss the great fall colors from upstate NY, I bet it is as pretty there as where we are from! Thanks for the link! Do you go to the parks that are up there ever? Sissy, sorry that you don't have more stuff that way for you. I didn't see anything in the travel book in your area like this. It was the first time that this park has done this they said. I think that they will be doing it again next year at the end of the season though. I think that your doggy beach sounds great though! And Rainbow, yes I really had a great time. My little legs are still pretty sore from all that running in the water yesterday. Mom keeps rubbing them for me though! I am glad that you always like my pictures, mom always has that silly camera handy that is for sure! Have a great day everyone! :)

You are so lucky Titan, we don't go to the lakes here! Don't want to be a gator snack, YIKES!! Mom had a little pool for me but we got rid of it. There are to many kids that want to try and run up and grab me when I am outside. What a stinker! :)

I've actually been tortured...er...swimming...:) Dad likes to put me in grandma and grandma's swimming pool with mom on the other side. Cuz I swim to her as fast as I can. He's usually laughing as he gets me ready cuz my front feet start moving even before I'm in the water. Gotta get out as fast as I can. One time when it was really hot I let mom hold me once I got to her...guess it wasn't too bad.

Tinkerbell, that is so funny! I was not so sure of swimming either at first then mom got me a lifejacket just for me! That made me feel so much better! I only use it if we are going to be in deeper water though! Now I love to be at the water, especially here in Florida where it is so hot all the time! :)

Warmer water might improve things. My cousin who's a chocolate lab LOVES the water. He tries to jump into the pool every chance he gets. Grandpa says the fence and gate is more for the granddogs than the grandkids.

I get to go swimming in the ocean sometimes though I usually just chase the waves. Very elusive those waves. They just keep disappearing on me

Hi there Tinkerbell and Hershey! That is so funny that the fence is more for the granddogs Tinkerbell! I probably would not jump into a pool like that because it would be over my head and that is scary! If the water isn't over my head then I am so in there though! And Hershey, I hear you on that, just where do you think those silly waves go!? I try to jump on them as long as they are not real big and then they just go away, hmmmm, what's the deal with that! :)
