Breed 1: I’ve been called the 40-mile per hour couch potato. I’m sleek and very fast—but only in short bursts. The rest of the time I enjoy lounging around the house, and I have a gentle, calm temperament. When you see me, you may think I could use a sandwich because my waist is small enough to make even those scrawny runway models jealous My coat is very short, and I generally live between 10-12 years.
Breed 2: The name of my breed is also the name of a type of insect in another language. I am known for my trademark ears, which look like they are too large for my little body. I give Dumbo a run for his money! I am usually white with patches of color on my head and body. Although I’m small, I’m not content to be a lapdog. I’m a lively breed which does well in obedience and agility sports (although I’m not especially known for these things).
Breed 3: I’m an odd-looking little dog, with my wide-set eyes and flat face (sometimes I even have a “beard”), but these features only add to my cuteness. My coat can be either coarse or smooth, and I’m usually red, black, or black and tan. I love to be my human’s constant companion, and I usually don’t do well when left alone for long periods of time. I stole the show in the movie “As Good as it Gets.”
