Hello everyone! It is just about that time of year when my Binx is having a Birthday! I told him that I would set this up for him here to share it with everyone! We decided it would be best for us to do it because I will be back in class and I wanted to be sure to get all the notes that are left for him as soon as possible so that I can get Binx right here to chat back! Binx's Birthday is Wednesday August 20th and our family always gets very excited, we just can't believe that he will be 4 years old already! What an amazing adventure it has been since we have had him in our lives! Binx is looking forward to talking to everyone who wants to stop by and say hello! Ya, that title could be a rip off of a song, but that is where we live. It's small, it's North and it is a lot of fun. Binx has been reading about our little adventures for quite some time now, so I guess it is time to share. Best time of the year is winter. It's cold and this year we had over ten feet of snow. There is nothing better than getting completely buried in the snowfall, so that no one can find you. (HeHe, a very favourite pass time). Next best thing to do was find the beaver dam and swim in the pond scum so there is an excuse to swim in the bigger pond and then play in the river. This year our beaver passed away?? or maybe went on vacation, because the pond scum is gone, the beaver dam is crumbling and we now have a meadow that is filled with blueberry bushes and a meandering stream. This however translates to bears. They are big black bears. We have not seen one yet this year, but we will. Last year there was a big one next to our house. We are going to follow the stream this weekend because we think it goes to the waterfall pool where the minnows live and then empties into our big pond. Maybe we will see a moose again, or the wolf (hopefully not), or some deer. Stay tuned there is always something.

As you know, my mom is a groomer and I get to go in the truck with her!
Here's my latest tip for you all...
Please tell your mommies to go to your local pet store and buy you a brush designed specifically for your coat and brush you every morning and evening before bedtime.
Not only will this remove dead and loose hair and possibly disturb hiding bugs that may have found a new home during the day. But it will also help to remove the under coat and stimulate the precious oils to be released to help keep you coat shinny and healthy.
