Hi, everybody, I just wanted to tell you about this past weekend. My brother, Harley, went to the Orlando Home Show and was helping out in the Yorkie Friends Rescue booth. He came to us from Yorkie Friends so he does we all do lots to help them out. His job was to sell kisses for $1.00 to raise money to help with the medical bills for all the yorkies we get. Can you believe we actually get the cutest little yorkies in a rescue.

Was just watching the news while waiting for the daily kibble. Seems the Orlando and Sanford Humane Societies are giving people BIG discounts (all the way to free!) if they rescue a cat during Independence Week.

Great idea - remind your humans of how cool it is to have cats!

Sorry to say this is a sad story, but I'm hoping you can give it a happy ending. In April, a friend of my human passed away after a brief illness. Jan was a cool lady and lover of cats.

Now, her two cats need new homes, with lots of love. Here's the scoop:

Tux, whom Jan named for his beautiful black and white coat is a male that weighs around 14 lbs and is about 6 years old. This cat is like a dog in that he loves a lot of attention and is a LOVE lap cat.

Hi everyone! I have rescued a female, fully vetted, spayed and tattoed Ferret named Tinkerbell. She is 2 years old and is looking for a wonderful new home go to! I rescued her for fear that her previous humans were going to either kill her or release her into the wild, knowing she had never set foot into the wild!
